Being enlightened
We are currently preparing ourselves for the 2013 where the white paper on e-education is expecting than all African citizens including children and the educators to be ICT capable.As a result we are so fortunate that we are currently busy with the ICT to ensure that by that time we would be fully equipped and knowledgeable in the field. The kinds of activities that we are busy with in our ICT course are an evidence that we would be ready for the year 2013.Let us all take what we are doing seriously and see where this will take us.

ReplyDeleteAs one of the students in this course I think we are very fortunate to be part of this programme, but my comment is based on how we as a group would have to embark on a campaign of empowering all other educators out there who happen not to be part of this programme. According to my opinion I don't think we are on this programme to empower ourselves but as educators the aim is to enlighten the nation as well.
Your topic is thought provoking, but let's hope that by the time 2013 comes, the majority of educators would be conversant with the use of ICT resources in order to enhance teaching and learning.

Interesting topic, that's good relief to know that there are teachers out there who has your thought, now I have hope and see the future use of ICT resources in schools.
